December 9, 2013 – The Cowboys hosted Air Force this past weekend, bringing the old rivalry between the two teams back to the ice in Laramie. Air Force spent the past two years away from the league, due to team complications. This year, the Falcons managed to gather up some players and produce a full roster. During Friday night’s game, Wyoming struggled during the first period and allowed Air Force to hang around, ending the period tied at 1-1. The Cowboys must have received an earful from Head Coach Dan Lang during the intermission because they came out in the second period with a purpose, scoring three quick goals and taking the lead 4-1.
